Purpose for this blog

For ESMG 4200 - Disaster Response and the Public, we would like to provide you the experience of using blogs. Therefore, you will be required to post your reading summaries from the course here.
A blog is a discussion or informational site published on the World Wide Web. It usually includes individual entries ( or "posts") in reverse chronological order (where the most recent post appears first). The first blog in 1997 was called a weblog (the contraction for web log), but was later shortened to blog.
Instructions for using this blog are located in your Canvas course. After you have posted your reading summary to this blog, review your post.   If you need to make changes, resend the updated reading summary and the instructor will delete your older post.
Comment on two other student posts in the comment section of the the other student's blog post.
Long after this course is over, you will be able to come back to the blog and use it as a reference in your work.
